The Elgin Club recently held a fund raising event at at Zanies, a comedy club in St. Charles, IL.  They gave us the tickets and all ticket sales plus the 50-50 raffle proceeds came back to the Altrusa Club.  There were about 75 people in attendance and Altrusa netted about $1500.  This was a very different venue and, for the most part, members and guests has a fun evening.
