On Sunday, Oct 2  we hosted a reunion of Mighty Moms (MMs) at the Racquet Club. MMs from each of the past four years were represented. The MMs talked together non-stop as they reconnected, made new friends, and shared their joys and challenges. Thank you to all who lent a helping hand.  Lunch was chicken salad on fresh greens and the desserts provided by Altusans were delicious. Eula guided the group through a “speed dating” rotation that kept everyone engaged (and would be fun for a future Altrusa meeting!).  Our speaker Virgil Grant spoke from the heart.  Maria from Massage Envy stayed busy as MMs rotated through for a good RUB. Special appreciation goes to Angie Smith whose social media connections with the moms is amazing.  We received 15 Mighty Mom referrals for 2012. The MMs hope we will more reunions. As one Mom said, “Mighty Moms Rock!”   Each MM left with a  mum and lots of smiles.
